Spring is here! Time to think about your perennials that need to be thinned out. Please consider donating your excess to the annual Annunciation Church plant sale.   Plants that have sold well in the past include: hostas, peonies, mums, liriope, day lilies, ground cover, hen and chicks, cora bells, iris, strawberries, and bulbs like elephant ear, etc.

You can put your donations in a plastic grocery sack, indicate the specimen and color, sprinkle some water to make sure the roots are kept damp, and drop off under the stairs at the church rectory, or drop them off in my driveway at 31967 Hwy 87, California, MO. If you drop them off at the church, please send me a message so I know they are there. 

If you need help digging, please message me at 573-690-5659 to work out a time for me to come and dig. 

I will have a plant sale in early May. The date will be posted on the Annunciation church website and Facebook page. I will also have plants at the church picnic on June 5th. 

Through your generous donations of plants, potting soil and pots, we raised nearly $2,800 last year. All proceeds will again be donated to the Church Picnic fund.
